Ashish was interested in Acting since childhood. Hence he participated in Theatre Plays and Cultural programs during school and college days.
Further, he took training from Anupam Kher’s acting school, Actor Prepares from Mumbai. His film debut was in the year 2010 with the movie Love, Sex and Dhoka.
He made his television debut in the same year with Gunahon Ka Devta as male lead telecasted on imagine tv.
In 2011 he did the serial Chandragupta Maurya where he played the main character of Chandragupta Maurya. This role tested his acting capabilities.
Then he appeared as Ranveer in the Zee TV’s Rab Se Sohna Isshq. Here he worked along with Kanan Malhotra and Sukirti Khandpal.
In the year 2014, his character of Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat, a BSD(border security) officer from the serial Rangrasiya gave him immense popularity and appreciation.
He has also hosted the radio show Tujhse Naraaz Nahin Zindagi.
He was recently seen in the serial Prithvi Vallabh – Itihaas bhi, Rahasya bhi in 2018. His costar was Sonarika Bhadoria.
