Namit Das is an Indian film, television and theatre actor.
He was born on 10th July 1984 in Delhi, India, Namit Das age is 37 years(as in 2021).
He completed his graduation from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.
He is a trained singer and took classical music training from his father Chandan Dass and Bhavdeep Jaipurwale. But he preferred acting over singing.
He belongs to a family of musicians and singers.

His father name is Chandan Dass who is a reputed ghazal singer. His mother name is Yamini Dass.
Namit’s maternal grandfather was K. Pannalal who worked for Delhi All India Radio and Doordarshan and was a musician par excellence. One of his maternal uncle Jaidev Kumar is a famous Punjabi music director and another is Ajay K Pannalal a Punjabi film director.
There is no information about his brother or sister.
Namit Das wife name is Shruti Vyas, who is also an Actress and younger sister of Sumeet Vyas (Actor).

Namit Das wedding took place on 15th February 2015 in Mumbai. It was a traditional ceremony graced by family and friends. They both dated each other for six long years before marriage.

Namit Das Career
Namit Das started his acting career with theatre. Even though being a trained classical singer, he moved in acting to fulfill his dream.
He debuted with the theater play Shadow Box in the year 2002 which was directed by Nadira Khan. This was followed by another play Noises off in the same year by Atul Kumar. He has done over 14 plays.
His television debut was with serial Pancham as the lead role in the year 2004.
He got real recognition and fame from the serial Sumit sambhal lega as Sumit Walia in 2015. Here he worked opposite to Manasi Parikh.
He did not stop with tv serials and theatre but also became successful in Bollywood. His debut film was The President is coming in 2009 as Ramesh. This followed Wake up Sid, Lafangey Parindey, Phillum city, etc. Some of his plays, tv serials and films are given below.
