Shivangi Kolhapure is an Indian Actress and Singer. She is also famous as the wife of Bollywood Actor Shakti Kapoor and Mother of Actress Shraddha Kapoor and Actor Siddhant Kapoor.

Shivangi Kolhapure was from Kolhapur, Maharashtra and hence adapted the surname.
She was born around 1964 in Mumbai. ‘Shivangi Kolhapure’s Age is 55 years(as in 2019).
Her father was a famous classical singer Pandharinath Kolhapure and her mother Nirupama Kolhapure worked for airlines.
She is the oldest among the three sisters. Famous Bollywood Actress Padmini Kolhapure is her younger sister and Tejaswini Kolhapure also an Actress who is 10 years younger to them.
Shivangi’s paternal grandmother was the half-sister of Pandit Deenanath Mangeshkar.
And also the sister of Balwantrao Abhisheki, father of vocalist Jitendra Abhisheki. Thus Shivangi is the niece of legendary singers Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle
Shivangi Kolhapure’s sister Padmini is married to Pradeep Sharma and has a son Priyank Sharma. On the other hand, Tejaswini is married to Director-Producer Pankaj Saraswat and has a daughter Vedika Saraswat.
Shivangi starred in few Bollywood movies. She worked in the film Kismet in 1980, where her role was brief. In this film, her co-actors include Mithun Chakraborty, Ranjeeta and her husband Shakti Kapoor.

It is believed that Shivangi Kolhapure love story with Actor Shakti Kapoor began from the same film (Kismet).
They fall in love on the sets of the movie and dated each other for two years. In 1982 they decided to get married.
But both their families were against this marriage so their wedding was a court marriage. At the time of marriage, Shivangi was just 18 years old.
Shakti Kapoor’s family accepted their relation after a particular period of time but Shivangi family was completely against it and said they won’t see her face in the future.
In the year 1984, she gave birth to a son named Siddhant Kapoor who is an Actor.
Later in 1987, she was blessed with a girl Shraddha Kapoor who is one of the Top Bollywood Actress today. Shivangi’s family accepted them after her children’s birth.
She left the film industry post her marriage in 1982 and since then is seen with husband and children at some awards nights.
