Rajat started his acting career as Child Artist.
His debut was with the TV show Bongo in 2004 as Ashu on DD National.
He later did many shows like Lighthouse for children, Jadui Chirag, Tarang, Ye hawayan, etc.
He came to Mumbai in 2005 along with his father and got the role of Tantya who was Sai Baba’s brother in serial Sai Baba.
In 2006 he was selected for the first lead role of Young Prithviraj Chauhan.
Rajat Tokas as Prithviraj Chauhan proved his acting capability in the serial Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan.
