Career
Bhumika came to Mumbai in 1997 and began her career as a model where she appeared in various ads and music video albums.
She then got a break in Telugu movie Yuvakudu in 2000 alongside Actor Sumanth. This was her debut as an Actress.
She later featured in many other movies from different languages. Her second release Kushi in 2001 opposite to Pawan Kalyan was a box office hit and she won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Telugu for this film.
Since then her career graph started rising by giving her a number of films.
Her Bollywood debut was in the year 2003 with the film Tere Naam opposite to superstar Salman Khan. Here she played the role of Nirjara an innocent girl.
